THE COVEN MURDERS

The Coven Murders has now gone off to the publisher, all 120,000 + words of it. It has, as I feared, developed into a double genre book (I suppose I could best describe it an an Occult Mystery.)

To date no one has seen it except myself. Normally I would get someone to read my work for typos and the odd suggestion about the way the story might be changed ... but not this time. Maybe I wanted to hold my cards close to my chest; maybe I wanted to be able to chop and change right up until the last minute; maybe I was just ashamed of it.

In any event, no has yet seen it. I await my publisher's critique with bated breath. In the meantime, if any faithful followers of this blog would like to see the Word version (typos and all included), and you have the expertise to download such a version on to your ereader, please contact me at brianohare26@hotmail.co.uk and I'll be happy to send a free copy.

  1. Hello, Mr.O'Hare, I recently read The 11:05 Murders and reviewed it for OnlineBookClub. I so enjoyed it, I went on to read A Spiritual Odyssey. (I did offer reviews on Amazon for both of these as well, for what they're worth).
I was truly I inspired by your life story, and identify with many of the spiritual struggles.
I am looking forward to this latest novel!

  2. Thank you for these very kind remarks, Kelly. I can't help grinning at the idea of you bringing two such very different books into the one sentence ... but I fully appreciate your sentiments. Thank you for reading these books and for your two very generous reviews. The next novel is a bit delayed because the publisher is rushing other books into print but I anticipate a May date for the appearance of The Coven Murders. In the meantime, you might like to have a look at The Doom Murders ... the first Inspector Sheehan mystery. Thanks again for your comments. Brian
